that allows advantage of low operating costs with associated features like
longer service life because of its unbreakable construction. Further, these
have low heat-up and cool down times (3 to 4 seconds), when these are used
in fan driven mode and are designed to provide absolute uniformity of
radiation throughout emitting surface. With the Gas IR/Metal Fiber Burner
based on latest gas infrared technology, these can be fired facing sideways,
up or down along with possibility of vertical firing as long as heated
length is 1000 mm (without loss to its uniformity). Further, atmospheric
firing is possible in cases with pressure of 120 mbar. The solutions offered
here comprise MFB Burner and Gas Combustion.
MFB Burner
MFB BURNER solution offered
comprises metal fiber burner that are based on state-of-the-art technology
support in gas infrared mode that provides advantage of low operating costs
with features like long service life because of its unbreakable
construction, low heat-up & cool down time (3 to 4 seconds) when used in
fan driven mode and uniformity in radiation throughout the emitting surface
even in cases where burner is 2 to 3 meters long. Also available with
mechanical and thermal shock proof finish, these burners are made available
in two basic types - MFB cloth 100 and Knitted Mat 250 and Sintered Mat 200.
Here, the construction of MFB burner comprises thin perforated sheet that
supports burner with equal distribution of premix as it is fully welded with
diverters inside as well as housing (with/without collar) made up of SS304.
Other than this, the Sintered Mat Burner finds application for radiant
application for its medium density 2.5 KG/m2 and with Knitted Mat 250 of
high density - 4 KG/m2. These are used for applications where surface
temperature of burner is maintained at consistently high levels.

Gas Combustion Burner
Gas Combustion burner offered
comprises safe system design for handling propane or natural gas that cannot
have butane because of its lower self ignition temperature (4500
ºC)
that causes flashback and explosion as temperatures of Propane is 5500
ºC
and natural gas is 7500
ºC.
Generally, with CO
2 and H2O being formed as by-products of
combustion of hydrocarbons, the premix flow leads to heat intensity in range
of 100- 500KW/m2 where most of combustion takes place within surface of
burner itself, thus making the surface heat, glow as well as transfer heat
in radiant form. As the mode is infrared, the surface temperature is
maintained highest at 1050ºC. With combustion taking place outside the
burner (as a blue flame mode), here the heat transfer takes place in
convection mode and can intensify as high as 20 MW/m2.
